These terms are the agreement between you and Mary Jane Orajekwe trading as Sweet Cuddles with Macjay. By booking you confirm you are 18 or over and accept them. The full signed version is the Terms, Client Contract & Waiver (PDF).

The service

Clothed, platonic, non-sexual cuddle therapy at your home, my space or an agreed third space. It is a complementary wellbeing service, not medical treatment, massage, counselling or psychotherapy, and it does not replace advice from your GP.

Prices

£45 per hour. A new client's first session lasts at least 3 hours and includes a consultation: £135. Standard session (1 hour): £45. Longer sessions: £45 per hour. Deposit: [DEPOSIT, if any].

Travel

I am based in Cambridge. There are no travel costs for sessions within Cambridge. Outside Cambridge, you pay my travel from Cambridge: [RATE] per mile by car (plus parking, tolls or congestion/ULEZ charges) or standard-class public transport; long journeys may include travel time at [RATE] per hour and an overnight stay at cost. Travel is quoted and agreed in writing before booking.

New-client screening

Every new client must provide valid photo ID and proof of address (dated within the last 3 months), and after payment we have a 15-minute video intro call before the first session. If your ID or address cannot be verified, or either of us decides not to go ahead after the call, you get a full refund. How ID documents are stored and deleted is explained in the Privacy notice. Safety measures are in place to ensure the practitioner's safety while delivering every session.

Payment

New clients pay in full to book, before the video intro call. Returning clients pay in full before the session starts. Payment by [PAYMENT METHODS]. See the Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy.

Cancellations and lateness

Please give at least [48] hours’ notice by email or text (the time stamp of your message counts). Later cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable, including travel already spent. If you are not ready at the booked time, the session still ends at the agreed time. If I have to cancel, you get a full refund or a new date.

Conduct

Sessions are strictly platonic. No kissing, no intimate touch, no sexual requests, verbal or non-verbal. We both stay fully clothed. No alcohol or drugs. Either of us can stop at any time. I may end a session immediately, without refund, if I feel unsafe or a boundary is crossed, and I may refuse service to anyone.

Health

Please tell me about any condition, injury (even minor) or medication that may affect your session, and check with your doctor or therapist first if you are seeing one for emotional issues.

Photos and recordings

None without written agreement in advance.

Liability

I hold professional and public liability insurance [INSURER / POLICY NO.]. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

Complaints

Please tell me in any way you like, or use the complaint form. I acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and aim to resolve them within 30 working days. You can also contact Cuddle Professionals International.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
